Role Purpose

Business Controlling Manager for Belgium, Netherlands & France (BENEFRA), this role will:

• Coach, develop and lead the controlling teams in the BENEFRA affiliates ;
• Supervise BENEFRA controllers in the preparation and analysis and reporting of monthly financial performance ;
• Ensure data quality and proper set up of systems to support the analysis requirements;
• Assist Head of controlling in the implementation of FP&A cycles processes such as Budget, Forecast and Closings as well as KPI dashboards that provides quality and actionable information to all company leaders;
• Take the lead in projects across the organizational matrix, driving value creation beyond his/her formal scope
• Implement analysis tools to enable interpreting and improving the financial & non-financial results of the BENEFRA affiliates ;
• Partner with local Finance and the consolidation team to build cohesive reporting sets that support analysis and insights;
• Ensure compliance with group rules and best practices;
• Act as a key business partner to Commercial country Leaders and assist them in all financial matters and related in order to strive for performance optimization
• Develop new solutions to business challenges with relevant reporting, financial models and business cases

Responsiblities:

• People management: Lead, coach and develop the controlling BENEFRA team
• Support Head of controlling in effective management of reporting & analysis with creation and enhancement of financial reports
• Ensure timely and correct reporting of the budget/forecast by the business units/regions
• Responsible for proper follow up and reporting of the budgeted and forecasted figures
• Create team spirit and stimulate empowerment and collaboration across groups
• Business partnering
• Work closely with Commercial, Operations and other functions and with the HQ Finance directors to ssupport them with management information/reporting and Business intelligence
• Act as a true leader who can on the one hand give guidance to the business and on the other hand coach & mentor a team of controllers reporting into this position

About you

We are looking for :

• a strong business controlling / finance business partnering mindset & someone who is able to play a business challenger role
• a professional with proven analytical skills at senior management level and strong and influential business partnering skills;
• a senior controller with a first, successful people management experience
• a technology savvy controller who is able to use BI-tools to create & develop a meaningful dashboard for the business.
• a professional with a demonstrated track record working for a business applying a SAAS model.
• Experience with M&A projects would be beneficial, since the analyses of potential targets & analyse synergies up to the integration of acquired companies will be also a part of this position.

• Studies in Business Administration/ Economics/ Commercial Sciences or other relevant field
• +8 years experience in finance, accounting, controlling and reporting
• English and French– proficient verbal & writing; Other languages are an asset
• +/- 10% travel expected
